Textual Records Research at NARA Riverside

$75.00

$75 per hour

The Riverside regional office of the National Archives holds historical records of federal agencies in Arizona, Clark County Nevada, and Southern California.

These unique record sets have the potential to contain genealogical valuable information. In most cases, the records are not arranged by the individual, so records about a specific person must be found by reviewing the contents of the collection page-by-page.

In some instances, privacy laws may restrict what records I can copy and provide to you.

  • Agency records include, but are not limited to:
  • Bureau of Land Management (Including grazing permits)
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs (including tribal census records and much more)
  • Port Authority (including Chinese Exclusion Act case files)
  • US Forestry Service
  • Federal & District Court records

On completion of the research, you’ll receive a written report of searches and results, as well as digital copies of relevant items located.
