Included in the records of the U.S. Forest Service are the Grazing Permit applications. If your ancestor lived near a National Forest in Arizona, Southern California, and Clark County, Nevada. and owned livestock, they might have applied for a grazing permit.
A typical file includes the original application and annual renewal applications, correspondence, and check sheets. Other records which might be in the file are land deeds, bills of sale for livestock, maps, photographs, and waivers of grazing privileges.
You will receive full color images of the records, delivered electronically.
Please allow for 2-3 weeks for delivery, but in many cases it will be shorter than that.
