Your Genealogy “Girl Friday”

Are you working on a big genealogy project, such as organizing your photos, cleaning up your tree, or researching a complex problem? Do you need help getting started? Do you ever wish you had someone to stand next to you and tell you what to do next or to hold you accountable for working on your goals each week?

Would you like a personal tutor? Someone to show you the ropes at a specific website, working with a specific type of record, or a particular subject, but in small chunks of teaching with time to practice before the next session?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this package is for YOU!  In our first session, we’ll talk about your big goal; what you want to achieve, how much time you have each week to spend on the project, when it needs to be done, and what resources you need. You’ll leave our first session with a custom weekly to-do list designed to get you moving toward your goal. If you’re looking for a tutor, we’ll talk about what you need help with, evaluate where your starting point is, and create a lesson plan.

After the first session when we get you set-up, we’ll meet once a week for 5 weeks; these 30-minute sessions are designed to hold you accountable, but also to talk about frustrations and unexpected challenges, make any necessary revisions to the plan, and brainstorm ideas. 

Select a date and time that works for you and we’ll meet during that timeslot each week. We’ll meet on Zoom so that we can screen share as needed. 

You are booking 6 sessions. Each session is for 30 minutes and works out to be $50.00 USD per session. You must schedule all of your sessions at the time of booking.
