Instructions for new post. This row is hidden and will not appear on the front end. You could leave it here or you could delete it when ready to publish. To delete, click on the left column top tab that has 3 horizontal lines. Click on the top “Row Layout” and then the 3 dots on the right side of the Row Layout and select ‘delete’.
To Do Checklist:
1 – CHANGE THE TITLE
2 – CHANGE THE PERMALINK (right column–> post tab–> click on the URL and change it. Use only lowercase letters, numbers, dashes or underscores. No spaces or characters such as apostrophes, quotes, questions marks, etc.. It might already be changed for you, but if not then change it.
3 – ADD CATEGORIES – make selections. This will route the post to the correct archive page(s) and tab in The Stories We Unearth blog. If you don’t see the categories section, save the draft and refresh the page.
4 – ADD TAGS – This is optional. If you do add tags, either select from the tags that are already there, or type a few letters in the text box and WAIT a few moments, the tag might appear and then you can select it. If you don’t wait and you just type it in and hit enter, you might possibly create a second tag with the same or similar name. Example is keyword “Research Plan”, if you type “Research” and wait a moment, the keyword “Research Plan” will appear. But if you don’t wait, and you type “Research” and hit enter, you will create a tag called “Research” and now you have “Research” and “Research Plan” as keywords. This could make things confusing, inconsistent or disorganized, depending on the keyword or how you are grouping things. And just like the Category issue, if you don’t see the Tag section, save the draft and refresh the page.
5 – CHANGE THE FEATURED IMAGE (this will appear on the main blog and archive page(s))
6 – ADD POST RESTRICTIONS – On the right-side of the page, in the settings, “Require Membership” –> Make selections of which memberships can see the post.

Most likely this will be the same as the featured image. Then click on the worksheet (the PDF in the 2nd column of the row), a menu pops up, select “Replace” and go thru the steps to change add the new worksheet. ONE LAST STEP after changing the worksheet PDF.. in the settings on the right side of the screen, where it says “Height in Pixels”, change it to 750. This height is about equal with the image on the left. You could go higher to maybe 1000, this way there would be a sneak peak into the second page.
